The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals.

What are the SDGs?

At Talú, our mission is to craft textiles that embrace and guide you back to the Land, back home. We are guided by a vision to build healthy soil and increase biodiversity. We believe this is achieved by placing ancestral knowledge and innovation at the forefront of regenerative clothing and textile production.

Since our conception, we have pledged to focus on these 9 Sustainable Development Goals.

A successful development agenda requires inclusive partnerships at the global, regional, national and local levels, placing people and the planet at the centre.

17 — Partnerships for the goals

Doing more and better with less, decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation, increasing resource efficiency and promoting sustainable lifestyles.

12 — Responsible consumption and production

Innovation and technological progress are key to finding lasting solutions to both economic and environmental challenges.

Nature is critical to our survival: nature provides us with our oxygen, regulates our weather patterns, pollinates our crops, produces our food, feed and fibre.

15 — Life on land

Careful management of this essential global resource is a key feature of a sustainable future.
