If you’re wondering where you might be able to source the supplies you need to turn your kitchen or craft studio into a natural dye lab, worry not! I’ve compiled a handy list of natural dye suppliers from all over the world. Regardless of whether you’re looking for dry dye plants, extracts, cochineal, indigo, mordants or assists, there are plenty of options for where to find them. Many of these suppliers also do international shipping! Just remember that if you’re ordering materials from another country, you should check the importation laws beforehand and limit your shopping to dry goods (aka, avoid purchasing liquids, as they most probably won’t be allowed to be posted abroad).
You might also be able to find dye supplies on Etsy or Mercado Libre (Latin America)
The list is organised in alphabetical order, by country name. If you know of or find another supplier that isn’t mentioned, please let me know so I can add them to this list and we can all benefit from it!
